nflow release universal integration add on for its digital dictation system

nflow software has released an add on module for its advanced digital dictation system which will allow it to integrate with virtually any other legal office system that uses a database. This includes Practice Management Systems (PMS) and Document Management Systems (DMS) as well as other databases that might contain information that would otherwise need to be entered again by the user. It can be easily configured to show lists of information where the user can select the desired information and attach it to a dictation with a single click of the mouse. As an example of this could be a list of matters that the fee earner is working on or all their current open matters.

nflow Development Manager, Keith Sarti, says, ‘We have already created a number of integrations with systems such as Elite, CMS Open, Axxia, ResSoft, Miles33, Interwoven and Hummingbird, all of which are very popular with law firms. We found that there was a common theme running through all of these integrations and created a universal tool that would allow us to provide the same functionality with any legal office system that uses a database. We are strong proponents of law firms pushing the boundaries of our system with integration and feel that this module underlines our position as a leader and pioneer in this area. What’s more, our recent partnership with Mountain Software promises to deliver an even more exciting new level on the integration front.’

One of the barriers to user acceptance of digital dictation systems is the feeling that they have to do more by entering information with each dictation. Underlining the supplier’s reputation as the main alternative to the market leader, nFlow are able to remove this barrier leading to a more successful implementation and greater productivity improvement than that offered by other systems.
